For the last 16 years, Meadow Run Environmental's founder and principal ecologist, Nate Hough-Snee, has conducted scientific research that spans wetland ecology, invasive species biology and management, riparian management for forestry and grazing, and ecosystem conservation and restoration. His work has been published in scientific journals ranging from Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences to River Research and Applications the open access journals, PLOS ONE and PeerJ. Nate has also contributed to multiple technical studies as a part of working groups for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Washington State Department of Natural Resources, and US Forest Service.
